Shiva the Superhero 2 Hindi Dubbed Movie 34 is a 2019 Indian superhero film. It is a sequel to the 2017 film Shivaay, and stars Hrithik Roshan in dual roles. The film also features Katrina Kaif, Pooja Hegde, Jackky Bhagnani, Mohit Marwah and Esha Gupta in supporting roles. Ajinath Singh wrote the screenplay for the movie while Sajid Nadiadwala served as producer. Vishal Chandrasekhar composed its music. The film is set to be released on 23rd September 2019. Chandrasekhar (Hrithik Roshan) is an orphaned kid growing up in a slum in Chennai. He lives with his elder brother Dharamraj (Jackky Bhagnani), who runs a small restaurant. His other brother Sundarraj works as a debt collector for a local loan shark named Kothi who is looking after Chandrasekhar as his own as well as Sundarraj's money problems. Chandrasekhar enrolls in a local martial arts school with his friends. Parallelly, Durga (Katrina Kaif) lives in London, where she is a boxer and works in an audio company owned by her foster father. She is always with her best friend Ronita (Pooja Hegde). One day when Ronita is almost attacked by some goons, Chandrasekhar rescues her and both of them fall in love. But Ronita's dad does not approve of their relationship. Now the only one who can get them together is Shivaay (Hrithik Roshan), their friend who has gone missing three years ago. The trailer of the movie was released on 22 May 2019. During the promotion of the film, Hrithik and Katrina were seen kissing and hugging at a panel discussion. They also appeared in a short comic sequence together in which Shivaay gave the tools of his mission to Paresh Rawal, whereupon Rawal greeted him by saying "Chandhkut". He then adopted an aggressive stance and challenged him to a fight which Shivaay accepted. The film has received mixed reviews from critics with a score of 46% on Rotten Tomatoes and 47% on Metacritic, based on 14 reviews. while some critics have praised the film for its high production value, story and music, some have panned the "over-the-top" humour and inconsistent tone. Rachit Gupta from The Times of India gave it 3 stars out of 5 and stated "Shivaay 2's biggest strength is its production value. It's a visual delight. The imagery is extravagant to say the least.
